About 8 years ago I was living outside the city (D.C.) in my hometown of Rockville, Maryland. I would skate up to the train station to get downtown everyday. I'd always cut through this park and sometimes I'd see these little kids playing basketball and they'd have their skateboards in the grass. I was always blazing by so fast that I never stopped. Then one day this group of kids stopped me and started asking all the little kid questions you hear, that was when I was first got introduced to these kids in my neighborhood. They found out where I lived and would come by and buy my old decks, shoes, etc. Let's fast forward to recently, all of a sudden these same 2 kids are now a foot and a half taller, got some neck tattoos, smoking cigs and are drinking beer on the 4th of July. These 2 kids rip with an OG style and don't care what or who is in front of them. I introduce Kenny and Kevin Augustine! Good luck telling who's who, cause I still can't. - Paul McElroy

Keir - Where are you guys from?

Kenny - We're from Rockville, Maryland about 30 minutes outside of D.C.

Keir - So how did you guys end up getting into skating?

Kevin - I had this friend named Donny who used to live across the street from me, and I'd always see him in the road skating. So one day I got a board somehow and we started skating. Since then I used to skate at this park by my house on this basketball court when I was 13 or 14. I didn't know who he was at first, but Paul McElroy use to skate by every day and use to tell us about skating in D.C. and how to get there on the Metro so one day we went downtown and skated all day and loved it ever since.

Keir - So then Kenny started too, what's it like having a twin brother?

Kenny - Well it's sick because everyone always gets us confused...

Kevin - And it's tight cause it's always someone to play SKATE with and just chill.

Keir - Kenny, how come you're regular footed and Kevin is goofy?

Kenny - I have no clue , its cool though that it makes us a little different haha.

Keir - Yeah it's the only way to tell in footage who's who! So between the two of you, who are your favorite skateboarders from D.C. of all time?

Kenny - Brian Tucci, Jack Curtin, Adam Graham, Chris Hall, Paul McElroy and Sam Wientzen.

Keir - You guys are known for skating K-Town park, I've seen a lot of clips on Youtube of you there, can you tell me about what that place is all about?

Kevin - Its a spot in Kensington, Maryland that all our friends and us made. We have things like a ledge, a box, a pole jam and some other raw shit. If you wanna just chill and hangout or learn a trick its tight place to skate at.

Keir - So Kenny, since I know you ride regular, I see footage of you on some pretty gnar rails and gaps before, have you ever gotten broken off trying a big handrail or anything?

Kenny - Haha, no not really but definitely have gotten many heel bruises from jumping down big shit, but nothing to serious.

Keir - So neither of you have any sponsors, what are you working on right now?

Kevin - My friend Smalls is making a video named Stop Fakin so we're working on our parts for that.

Keir - Alright fellas, I'm sure we'll see some promos and trailers coming out for Stop Fakin soon, anybody you'd like to shout out?

Kenny and Kevin - First, thank you for doing this interview, Attitude Skateshop, Sean Driscoll, Tim McDermont, Mike Musselli, Smalls, Andrew Feldt, Jono, John Paul, EB, Walshy, all the K-Town heads, Becheeseda fools, Pulaski heads, grape Dutchmasters, Budwieser and everyone we forgot, peace!
